Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

Just a bunch of normal family life pictures.

Saturday 9th June 2018

We are trying to juggle home/life jobs with fun family time at the moment. We would be happiest out exploring but so many jobs at home are getting neglected. It’s nice that the weather has been so nice recently that we can just spend more time in the garden, kids can play outside too.

We had breakfast out in the garden when they postman turned up with the girls Toucan Boxes! This was really good turning up today as it meant they could get on with those for the next hour!

Sofia is getting a Bearded Dragon in a couple of weeks, so she has been getting the vivarium ready for her new family member! Daddy has found some great rocks and tiles that fit nicely in there.

This was yummy! Spotted it on the Sainsburys website, a giant sausage roll. It turned out well and very filling!

Today is out getting out day! I wanted to visit Mottisfont in Romsey. It’s a National Trust venue but around this time the walled rose garden is stunning. I have never made it for the roses but they were so beautiful and I could have easily stayed there all day taking photos!

First off though a picnic in front of the house. Where we bumped into my best friend! She was visiting the same place at the same time!!!

OK I will try and only show a few photos and I will leave lots for another post…but I loved taking them here so sorry!

First off I wanted to give you an idea of the flower beds, they were all full up with such beautiful flowers, as you can see here. BUT they are everywhere and FULL

The girls made the most of taking some photos of them all too

A little photo session of us all!

The men can’t take this photographing properly can they!!!

See what I mean it was SO pretty!!

So after all of that it was time for an ice cream of course!!

We spotted a Damson Fly (not a dragonfly like we thought it was before be quickly corrected by someone!)

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram

I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.

  4. Montisfort really does look beautiful. What a gorgeous place to explore. I totally know what you mean about juggling house jobs and family time. We’ve struggled with that lately. The boys have been sadly neglected whilst we decorated the house. I so love the perspective of that shot along the path and the flowers are gorgeous. Thank you for linking up to #pointshoot

    • Thank you, I had to wait for the man who was slowly walking along to move around so I could capture it, I love it too. It’s so hard to get the balance isn’t it
