Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

I’m not sure what I am going to do if I see another paint brush again!! This is the last weekend we’ve had before the garden reveal on Friday. You will see little snippets of it in these pictures, but I have purposely kept it hidden from you guys! You have been following our project with me at the weekends, so I don’t want to spoil the surprise (also it hasn’t been finished yet!)

Saturday 27th May 2017

Off to the library today, the girls are really enjoying being able to find books they have been looking for. Sofia has waited about 6 weeks for a book she has wanted to come back in, and today she was rewarded!

Here is Lily looking a little surprised at my picture taking in the library!!!

I gave in and they got fidget spinners! The school has banned them, and I can see why!! The girls won’t put theirs down!!

Poor hubby is so tired out from the garden, everything he has to do is such hard going, and back breaking. This will be a chill out seating area, and boy will he be chilling out after this has been done!!

Can Gus get any closer to me!!!

We have been very excited to get our new plants planted in the flower beds. Today we have been able to, and the girls helped me out. Come on plants, PLEASE grow!!

The girls couldn’t believe their eyes when they spotted a bumble bee on their new planted plants already.

This is what me and hubby did come the evening!

Sunday 28th May 2017

Rain has been such an issue for us with the garden plans, again it rained again and we had to stop work!

A cardboard box still provides entertainment! However we had arguments over what it was going to be, a car or a house…..so I suggested a mortorhome! Seemed to go down well!!

This walk was well needed, because we have been working so hard at home during the weekends we haven’t been on our normal walks together. We are all suffering for it. So after dinner, the rained had eased off and we headed out to our local countrypark. It’s only 5 minutes down the road, and we could let the kids and us run free for an hour.

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.

  1. It sounds like all that gardening is hard work. I miss being in the garden but due to back surgery I am rather limited at the minute. Some really lovely photos of your family xx
