Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

Just a bunch of normal family life pictures.

Friday 09th November 2018

We had an exciting end to the week as we were invited to a brilliant waterpark in Bracknell, Coral Reef Waterworld with Zoggs swimwear. We were kitted out in their range of swimwear to celebrate the DC superheroes range.  I will be writing a full blog post on it at the end of the week, but here’s a few pictures I popped up on Instagram.

Saturday 10th November  2018

We all happily stayed in bed this morning, the drive home last night was terrible. The roads were so bad and I couldn’t wait to get home and safe.

So we had a chilled day. Ticking off homework, with a bearded dragon sat next to you like you do!

The boys headed off to dog agility and got a little wet…..but at least Gus was quiet for the rest of the day!

It was so dark and miserable, so I lit my candle from my Christmas gift guide, snuggled up on the sofa and got some blog admin done. A few little jobs you just never get around to doing.

Our local village had a firework display, I didn’t think they would go off at all as the weather was so bad. But the kids happily peeped out the window at them instead!

I was fiddling with my settings on the camera to capture them, but was only holding the camera! Hence the wiggling lines!!

Sunday 11th November  2018 – Remembrance Day

We sat down with the children this morning and watched the remembrance coverage on the TV, chatting to them about it all and doing the 2-minute silence with them. It’s so important for them to carry on this and never forgetting all those who were lost.

Even Gus has his poppy to wear.

After such a rubbish weather day on Saturday, we headed out to a new place. On Facebook I had spotted someone mentioning a place in the New Forest that looked lovely, another one to add to the list!

Now Kev has a camera too, a few more pictures of me are sneaking in!

I think I’ve found a new photo of Gus for the wall too!

These two spent loads of time chatting and playing together on the walk, it’s lovely to see siblings growing up together.

Did you have a lovely weekend? What did you get up to?

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram

I also post a daily picture on a separate Instagram account if you want to keep up with what we’re getting up to each day. Then at the end of the year, I put them together into a Photobook.

Such a lovely photo in autumn I want to experience autumn too someday.

  2. I love your posts my lovely! You always seem to spend so much time as a family, and go outdoors loads! Where did you get those Batman goggles, they look so cool! (are they Batman goggles?)

    • It’s really important for us to spend time together exploring, the kids love it too so whilst their young and happy to do so were grabbing that opportunity! The Batman goggles are from Zoggs, great fun aren’t they

  3. Awww that photo of Gus is gorgeous! Love the one of the horse too. Looks like you had a great week x

  4. I love those fall photos! They are gorgeous! it is actually raining here today. We have had a few good sunny days but it’s mostly been raining. I love the rain but I also want to get outside and take photos of the beautiful leaves on the trees right now 🙂

    • Thank you, yes you want to get your pictures before the mud gets munched into the leaves!

  5. Some lovely photos! We live near the New Forest and your photos are very familiar but I’m not sure I can place it. Sorry to hear you’d had a horrid drive home. It was horrendous weather on Friday night. Our fence came down.

    • It was at Puttles Bridge, would love to go back in the warmer weather as it was perfect for paddling.

  6. Bracknell is so close to us and Coral Reef is always so popular. I’ve not been there before sadly but i’d love to. I am a big fan of the New Forest!

    • Oh we had a fab time so would happily go back and well worth a visit if you’re nearby.
