Our weekend in pictures, a little diary of what we get up to at the weekends together.

Just a bunch of normal family life pictures.

Saturday 22nd September  2018

What a rubbish wet weekend!  This weather is a big shock to the system isn’t it!!! So we made the most of it and had a very very chill weekend.

Don’t judge but this was the time after I had got up and had breakfast!!

We made up for it though and got loads of jobs done that we needed to. I cleared out boxes of things I had just ‘hidden’ on my to do list, like write down all the names from last years Christmas cards in a list!!!

The kids enjoyed playing games, but not so much tiding their room and homework!

Plenty of time for cuddles with this guy though!

Sunday 23rd September 2018

Another wet day turned into a stunning afternoon, so we quickly ran out the house whilst it was shining and got a walk in locally.

The girls have a thing about collecting all different types of nuts at the moment, so the pockets are filling up!

My little helpers, reviewing a new toy for the blog soon!

If you don’t already follow me on Instagram

I also post a daily picture, and at the end of the year I put them together into a Photobook.

    • Maybe one day! Mine are older now and happily get up and do their own breakfast things and love it!

  1. Steph how did you manage to get away with staying in bed that late??? I want to know the secret please!!!

  2. So many lovely captures there. I shall never judge on the time a mum gets up and is ready to start the day. Though I will be cheering you on if it’s after 6am… it never happens for me, but I can dream right 😉

    • Haha!! Keep going mine are older now so it will come one day. You will then be struggling to get them out of bed!!!!

  3. I have a HUGE phobia of frogs so just had a little cry at one of your pictures haha. I’m so jealous of your lie in this weekend though and such a clever idea to start getting ready for Christmas now. I need to get far more organised this year, I really don’t want the mad panic like last year. xx

    • No it’s so much nicer when you don’t have to rush and have a panic about Christmas. Argos have their 3 for 2 on now so grab some Christmas presents! Oh sorry about the Lizard picture!!! He’s very cute really……!!! but yes does look like a little frog!

  4. It feels like it’s got very cold suddenly! Hope you managed to relax despite the weather – the pictures you got are lovely.

  5. Love a chilled weekend! The rain was horrendous here too, really missing the heat wave now!! Your Sunday walk looks lovely and those blue skies are a welcome sight xx

  6. I left the UK before the weather changed and am due back in 2 weeks, am scared of how cold it might be after such an amazing summer

    • Yeah you might want to wrap up! Mornings are pretty chilly but they days have been lovely and sunny

  7. Sounds like a good weekend despite the weather. And the pictures from your Sunday afternoon walk look lovely. The blue skies must have been a welcome relief!

    • Oh no an outdoor party?! lol! I think there will be a few more wet days don’t you!!

  8. It certainly was a wet weekend, wasn’t it? We embraced it and spent the whole time splashing in puddles! Despite the weather it looks like you had a lovely weekend 🙂

    • Oh now that’s a perfect thing to do in the wet weather, sounds like you had fun!
