Well we only went and got the Legoland Ambassador role for 2016!!!

LEGOLAND Blogger Ambassador Badge 2016

You would have seen our Legoland application a little while ago, I hoped you liked it, because Legoland did and they picked us! We were picked along with 7 other bloggers to be their ambassadors for 2016, which means we have been invited along to Legoland to have some fun with them through the year. My kids were bursting when they found out, which was lovely to see as they had worked so hard at the application. It was great they were rewarded for their hard work.

Our first event with Legoland was to see the premiere of The LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure which opens on 11th March 2016.  We were invited along to walk the red carpet with various celebrities and press people.

Armed with our popcorn and 3D glasses, we entered into the cinema to watch the film. However this wasn’t any old film, this film had special features and surprises!

We had snow, water, wind and of course all the 3D pictures coming out at us, the kids love the Lego films but they really love the effects that came with this one. You only have to listen to the kids reactions when watching it to realise how much fun the kids have!

The kids were joined by some fun characters to say hello, Lily was straight in there having a cuddle with them all!

That wasn’t the end of the day either, we had been given VIP tickets to access the park for the day, so we headed off to have some fun.

I love Legoland, it is so kid friendly, the rides are all suitable for all ages, with smaller rides for younger ones but larger ones for the older ones. Tyler is 11 years old and he still loves going here, the dragon rollercoaster still makes him scared (good scared!!)

Although the best part for him was the Lego Star Wars displays, filled with Lego Star Wars figures, moving scenes and the best part…..the new Lego Death Star which has only just been revealed this year. Made with 500,000 pieces, Tyler was blown away!

Legoland also treated us to lunch in the Legoland Brickworks Hotel, this place is amazing, brightly coloured decor, with play areas, easy access buffet area, friendly staff and coffee machines for the adults. They even let you colour in the table cloths and had Lego shaped chips!

Tyler was very impressed by the magician who came to our table and did some close up magic tricks for him. All the staff we met were so friendly and really went that extra mile to make it more special for the children.

They drove cars

Controlled boats

and we all laughed a lots when we got wet on the rides!

I created a vlog for you to see how much fun we had at Legoland, it gives you a great look at what we go up to.

*We were invited along to Legoland for the purpose of this post, however all opinions are honest and of my own.

What a fabulous experience you had and walking the red carpet too! My kids love Legoland and beg us to take them, so for the last few years we’ve made a weekend of it for their Birthdays.

  2. Massive congratulations!!! I so need to take the kids. I went to the original lego land as a kid and it was amazing 🙂

  3. SUCH an awesome place!! I can’t wait to take my twinnies — they absolutely love LEGO, so I think that Legoland would be a big hit with them! We used to live down near Windsor and my in-laws are still down there so it would be such a good place to go for a weekend! 🙂 Love seeing your pics 🙂

  4. Oh wow it looks like a real VIP visit and your photos suggest a fun filled day all round. No wonder the kids were excited. I’ve just seen my first 4D film at the London eye so I can only imagine how much fun it was a Legoland. I love your vlog, it really shows off all the things you got to do. Thank you for sharing with me on #CountryKids

  5. Wow just a little bit jealous and congrats on the Ambassador role! We live in the UAE and we will soon have the new Dubai Legoland open in October 2016 – cannot wait, we will have many of the great things you’ve outline here to enjoy too – as well as some brand new Lego features, and a water park – it is just the great equaliser for kids and grown ups isn’t it? !

  6. Congratulations on your new title 🙂 Looks like you had an amazing day out. Being Danish I can’t wait to take my boy to Lego Land. Though he’s only 1, so might have to wait a little stil #whatevertheweather

  7. Wow! It looks amazing and so many rides and fun to be had! I would lov to visit, although maybe when the kids are a bit bigger as A is too small for most things and O gets scared easily, although went on his first roller coaster (twice!) at Christmas time, so there is still hope! The kids must have been thrilled with their VIP experience, it sounds like the best day out! Thanks so much for linking up to #Whatevertheweather 🙂 x

  8. I LOVE LEGO!!! I can’t wait till Evie is older enough to play with it and old enough to come here. Congratulations on becoming ambassadors! So well deserved. It looks like you had such a great day out. The 3D film sounds amazing, I’d love to experience one of them. I can’t get over how much there is to see and do here. It looks like a fab place to visit. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with #whatevertheweather x
